Well, looks like we've managed to survive another ordeal, to a better time. Looks like Gearship's firing it up again with the plane races... crowd looks a lot bigger than the last few years. Guess everyone wants to have some fun after everything's that happened. Can't blame them, I suppose.

Heads up, mates. I'm currently at the Gearship's Plane Racing event. A couple of things have changed as you all might be aware after I stopped by the other time, but I've signed up to a new boss and currently working with the Brave Vesperia's Yuri Lowell. He's got a good head, though I think he really needs to pick better officers... ah well, what's done is done anyway.

Anyway, two things. One, as always, I've been informed that you guys have been hired to do security again for the event. That's fine by me, but make sure you keep those eyes and ears open - we're not going to be treated nicely due to Falls and and his stuff, so make sure you guys don't get into any trouble. Report to me if there are any problems during the job - I'll be in the Fiertia most of the time, so just tell the crew you're seeing me.

Second - can you guys bring Apache along? Its time I took him for a good ride in these races. [/End Filter]

Looks like we've got a situation on our hands, mates. Ze fear gas 'as leaked - I repeat, ze fear gas 'as leaked. Anyone who's not affected yet and can 'ear zis, get something to cover your noses. Cloth, face mask, something; so long as it can block your mouths and noses. They'll block out most of the gas. Once you mates 'ave zat done, get zose affected and put 'em somewhere safe.

And again, just when we thought its all over - the plot only thickens. Guess whoever's pulling the strings sure know how to time these things pretty well. Not to mention its right before that Unification Day hoohah as well...

Its a pretty messed up world nowadays. 'corse, everyone already knew that.

Apologies that this took a bit longer than expected, but I've finally managed to get ahold of some of my contacts and got a lil' more info on this whole 'fear gas' thingamajig.

Fear gas's a good fuel, but it takes quite a bit before it can combust - makes sense I suppose, given how they're usually used in more... messed up situations. Also the gas needs to be highly concentrated, I think; or at the very least, place somewhere where there are as little inferences from air currents or water vapour as possible. The barrels are fine, but we'd need to start moving as soon as the ship's fixed up before the wood starts to rot - the gas's pretty acidic, apparently. And we can't just dump it into any old bonfires - the smoke it produces only becomes more dangerous than ever.

Of course, I'm not sure if whatever they say here is true or not. And personally? I'd think we should just dump them somewhere away from the continent itself. I know of a good spot to do it too.

Well, now that that's over and done with, guess I'd better introduce myself to the newbies who showed up while I was gone, eh?

Well, looks like that's finally over and done with without any of us getting fully fried by mother nature... wouldn't want to know what would happen otherwise, to be honest. The third time I've went through this thing, and the first time it succeeded! Looks like that phrase about the third time being the charm's true after all. Though this'll be an experience I'll be remembering for a while. Some last mission this is, or if I could say anything about it.

On another note - does anyone have a spare eyepatch to lend me? I'm using a towel to cover it now, but I doubt not a lot of people would want to see me without my eyepatch. Maybe I should consider getting a glass eye, at the very least. [/End Filter]
